Welcome to Field of a Million Dreams.

What is FOMD? Simply put, it is a minor-sport fundraising web site with a difference.

Instead of just asking for a donation, or sponsorship, we want to give something back to those who support us. Then we want to pay your support forward to those less fortunate. This is definitely a team effort.

The site is a million pixel board advertising page, and we are asking for people who love soccer, or those who want to support youth who have a true passion for the sport, to buy space on the page. All you have to do is upload a picture of yourself or maybe of your favorite team and link back to your website, myspace, or facebook page.

Companies are encouraged to join our team as well. Uploading their company logo and providing a link will allow others to learn more about them, or become aware of a current promotion or product. In our very short time here, we have had more than 100,000 visitors to our site and have reached people from as far away as Australia, Japan, Greece, Spain, Holland, Brazil, Uruguay and England. Word is spreading and the site is gaining momentum. Therefore if your company shares our values of teamwork, dedication and fair play, we want you to join us on the Field of a Million Dreams.

A portion of the money raised will go to reducing the onerous cost of training, competing and travel for the talented youth players who train with Sigma Sports in the Greater Toronto Area. The rest will go to our charity partner, Right To Play Canada. This charity is a Canadian-based global leader in the sport for development movement. They use games and play to teach young people in war-torn countries to work out their problems peacefully.

How much that donation will be remains to be seen, but we have a dream of making the largest donation in Right to Play Canada's history and leaving a legacy that these young players can be proud of.

Once you join, you will immediately become part of a growing family of FOMD supporters. We asked international superstar Owen Hargreaves, Canadian internationals Atiba Hutchinson, Iain Hume, Chris Pozniak, Jaime Peters and Issey Nakajima-Farran to join us, and as you can see from the site, they agreed wholeheartedly. If you take a close look at the other faces and you will see someone who will one day emulate these stars.

We hope you enjoy choosing your place on our pitch, you never know who will show up next to you. When you buy space, make sure to link back to your company, team or personal web page so that our global audience can find out more about you. And don't forget to include a message with your picture, an encouragement or more about your personal dream for the future would be perfect.
