How it works....

Summary: Select a region of pixels, fill your region with a photo or image and then purchase your region of pixels.

For those that are less 'internet saavy' than others, detailed instructions are below.

Step 1: Select the "Buys Pixels" link on the top of the Field of a Million Dreams page.

Step 2: Select Pixels - Select one of the three regions you would like to place your photo or advertisement by clicking on the Buy Pixels button for that region. The two outer regions( left and right touchlines) are priced at 10 cents (Canadian) per pixel and the main pitch is priced at 50 cents (Canadian) per pixel.

Step 3: Select Your Pixels - Choose the region of pixels you wish to place your picture or advertisment on by clicking and dragging your mouse over that region. As you select your region, you will notice the area and subsequent price changing so that you can pinpoint your region precisely. You can change the placement and size of your selected region at any time during this process. Click on the Continue button once you are satisfied with your selection.

Step 4: Upload Your Image - Upload your picture from your computer, by clicking on the Browse button and selecting the photo from the drive of your choice (local drive, CD, USB memory stick etc.) or select one of the predefined images from the categories provided. Your photo or image will automatically be resized to the size of the region you have selected. Therefore, if possible, try to make the aspect ratio of the region selected equal the aspect ratio of the image you select to avoid distortion of your image. Click on the Continue button once you have selected your image.

Step 5: Describe Your Pixels - Along with your image, you must enter in a link (URL) from your image back to the site of your choice as well as an optional title and alt tag which will show up when others hover over your image. If you leave the title blank, your URL will be used as the title. If you leave the alt tag value blank, the title (or URL) will be used. Note: The link (URL) must start with http:// or https://. Click on the Continue button once you are done.

Step 6: Sign Up - If you haven't signed up for an account, please do so by clicking on the Sign Up Now link. Existing users may proceed to Step 8

Note: New users may also create an account prior to purchasing pixels. Optionally, existing users may log in prior to steps 1-5.

Enter your details below and click on the Create Account button. If you already have an account please proceed to Step 8

Step 7: Account Activation - A confirmation screen will verify that your request has been sent. Please follow the instructions in the e-mail to activate your account with us.

Once you have confirmed your account by following the link in the e-mail or copying and pasting the link in your browser, another confirmation screen will verify that the activation was a success and you may proceed to Log In.

Step 8: Log In - Enter your e-mail address and password, then click on the Log In button.

Step 9: Select Payment Method - Once you have logged in the system will automatically take you to the payment selection screen where you can verify your purchase and select your method of payment.

1. To pay with Amex, Mastercard or Visa through Paypals Secure Gateway please click on the Pay with Paypal button above and on the subseqent Paypal payment screen click on the Continue button under the Don't Have a Paypal Account section as shown below:

2. To pay with an existing Paypal account please click on the Pay with Paypal button and proceed to the Paypal Login screen

3. We also accept payments via cheque or money order. Please make all cheques payable to FOMD Enterprises and mail to:

Step 10: Payment Confirmation - Once your transcation has been completed, you should receive a conifrmation e-mail and screen as shown below.l
